92Legend always had a feeling that he'd be destined for greatness, and so did his inner circle.

The Florida native, born Albert Munroe, started his music career after watching his close friend Big Kuza rip the mic. The 32-year-old artist already had a strong presence on social media and YouTube so he started making music alongside Kuza to help inspire him. At first, Munroe didn't know how to sing or make a melody. Over time, he strengthened his skillset in the studio and dropped solo music as 92Legend beginning in 2019. He got his stage name from his late aunt Tandy Smith, who told him he would become a legend before she passed away.

"A lot of my childhood and my music influence came from her," he said. "The last conversation we had a week before she left, she was just like, 'I just want you to know. I know you don't know what you're going to do yet. I know you don't got it all figured out, but once you do, you're going to become a legend. Whatever it is, you're going to be known for it. Somehow between that and 92Legend, you know what I'm saying, the year... it just became who I was."

92Legend grew up listening to a mixture of genres from timeless Hip-Hop hits and iconic '90s R&B to country artists like Kenny Chesney, who was his Aunt Tandy's favorite. His appreciation for those classic sounds is reflected in his music. His catalog is full of various rap and country-inspired bangers beginning with his debut project Pride featuring appearances from his boy Kuza and 100 Bands Pluto. 92Legend continued his Pride series by dropping three more installments from 2020 to 2024.

While he grew as an artist, 92Legend eventually incorporated his two kids into the series by featuring them on the album covers of Pride II (2 Much Pride), PRID3 and Pride 4, which dropped last November. His most recent album contains 18 tracks including his favorite "Stay" with Rome G and Shaq D. In between his album series, 92Legend released other projects like Home Run (2019) and Broken Heart Surgery (2023). He also makes music while livestreaming with his followers. The first song he ever made on TikTok Live was "Peter Pan" from PRID3.

92Legend's eclectic music and relatable videos on social media helped garner over 3 million followers across his digital platforms. He currently has over 1.5 million followers on TikTok and recently celebrated reaching over 1 million followers on Facebook. His array of hits like "Fed Up" also attracted co-signs from notable names like Chrisean Rock and Tia Mowry. The famed actress and the reality TV star used the song in social media posts, which caught him off guard at first.

"I just remember both those days waking up and my notifications going through be like 'Tia just used your song' and I'm like, wait, what? What's going on?"

As far as what's next, 92Legend already got a few plans in mind. Now that he signed a new deal with UnitedMasters, the "Proud of You" artist bound to gain more support with his next project. He kicked off 2025 by releasing songs like "Something" and "Runway Model," which are expected to appear on the album. Legend describes "Runway Model" as "more energetic" and "more happy" than his past work.

"I'm known for making women empowerment music," he said. "That's like a staple of my music. So having a song like 'Runway Model' is ... I still make the songs for my women, but let's have a little more fun with it. Like she's fed up, okay. She's more than enough. We built it up, but let's celebrate it. Let's celebrate that you're a boss and you do this by yourself and you're killing the game, but we don't have to make it seem like it's such a bad thing."

In addition to his forthcoming album, 92Legend also wants to go down the country route similar to his inspirations Nelly, Jelly Roll and Morgan Wallen. After making songs like "Dancing With The Devil," the rising artist plans to cook up a country-inspired album and would love to work with rappers like Rod Wave to bring it to life.

"[Rod Wave] got that voice, that voice and that pain and that relatability," he said.
