Pooh Shiesty is back with brand-new music shortly after being released from prison.

On Friday, December 12, the Memphis-born artist dropped the visuals for his new song, "FDO." The music video begins with a motivational message from his mother and scenes from the moment Shiesty walked free from prison. It continues with the 26-year-old artist celebrating his release, recording in a lavish studio, and popping a bottle of champagne in front of a slew of plaques and awards he earned while he was locked up.

"We all on a race to the top, these n****s stuck, can't get no bigger/I got richer while in jail, locked in the feds outdoin' n****s," he raps.

Pooh Shiesty's bars from his latest song have already generated plenty of attention online. Midway through his lengthy verse, Shiesty stirs the pot by firing a stray shot at LeBron James' son, Bronny. "See, my daddy my first co-D, jumped in the streets, he showed me lanes (Them facts)/Your daddy a killer, but you ain't, you just like Bronny James," he raps.

"FDO" comes two months after Pooh Shiesty was released from federal prison. The rapper, born Lontrell Donell Williams Jr., had been behind bars for three years. He was indicted on federal charges, including conspiracy to possess firearms in furtherance of violent crime, Hobbs Act robbery conspiracy, and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. Pooh Shiesty's charges stemmed from two shootings that happened in Miami in October 2020 and June 2021. He faced up to eight years in prison, but he was sentenced to five years and three months in 2022. He received credit for time served after he pleaded guilty to the firearm conspiracy charge.
