Bobby Shmurda made headlines after he got his chain snatched during a major brawl after a show over the weekend, and it was all caught on camera.
The New York rapper was in Minneapolis, Minn., to perform at the MN Gold Room on Saturday night, December 13. In a video that surfaced after he got off the stage, Shmurda was spotted arguing with a man before he threw a punch. That's when a brawl broke out near the DJ booth. During the fight, one of the men apparently swiped the 31-year-old artist's "SHMURDA" chain, but he eventually got it back.
"Aye Dave I need my chain fixed," Shmurda said in a video posted to social media. "Come fix my chain when you can."
According to TMZ, tensions were flying after someone allegedly threw a bottle at Shmurda and screamed, "F**k Bobby Shmurda." A witness said Shmurda was furious and began cursing at the fan. That's when the first punch was thrown, and several guys swarmed the rapper. In another angle of the fight, you can see Shmurda take cover behind the DJ booth and attempt to chuck a mic at one of the men.
Shmurda eventually made it out of the venue in one piece. In a video he posted to his Instagram Stories, Shmurda recorded himself back at his hotel room while dancing to 310babii's "Soak City." At one point, he goes in for a close-up and shows off a huge bump on his forehead that he apparently got during the melee.
